New training module on Public Procurement for European Structural and Investment Funds authorities

Training on Cohesion Policy 2014–2020 for EU Member State Experts

We are pleased to announce the organisation of the training on “Key changes in public procurement directives & strategic procurement (innovative, green & socially responsible procurement)”.

After a series of successful modules, registration is now open for the trainings underModule 4 (State aid) and Module 5 (Public Procurement) in December 2017.

The new rules and legislation governing the EU Cohesion Policy investments for 2014-2020 were adopted in December 2013.

The new legislative framework introduced a number of changes as compared to the previous round. In order to support the EU Member States in interpreting and applying the new regulatory requirements, the European Commission has been organising a series of training events targeting national and regional authorities responsible for the management of the Structural and Cohesion Funds.

The training material used is available under each module.

The training is designed for participants from ESIF managing authorities / intermediate bodies / audit authorities and is provided free of charge. Authorities in each Member State are kindly invited to nominate technical level experts, having at least 2 years of experience in ESIF, to participate in the training. Participants have to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
