New Serbian law eases participation in public procurement

The new act allows an economic operator to deliver the Statement of Fulfilment of Qualitative Criteria in the standard form, confirming that there are no grounds for exclusion


As a result of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) that became effective in the New Year, life should be easier for economic operators taking part in public procurement procedures. Instead of collecting and filing numerous documents to prove that they have fulfilled the bid’s qualitative criteria, the new act allows operators to submit a Statement of Fulfilment of the Qualification Requirements as preliminary evidence. Supporting documents will only be required if they are selected as the preferred bidder.

The European Commission invites all interested market parties to participate in the open market consultation for its upcoming European Blockchain Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP).

The PCP is looking for novel blockchain solutions for the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure.

The open market consultation offers a unique opportunity to provide feedback on the scope of the future PCP and to be involved in and co-create the future development of EU-wide blockchain solutions. Share your views and ideas by completing the online questionnaire (deadline 2 March 2020).
